P.S. I SWEAR I will start blogging more. I've already got some good rules in my head that need to be put down!
With the first day of fall behind us everyone is now waiting for colder weather to follow suit. Luckily, with colder weather comes new fashion.
One of the new trends this fall is burnt colors – and lots of them! This goes for guys and gals who want to be in style. Do not limit yourself to brown, orange and yellow. Purple, blue and green are also good color choices.
If the burnt trend does not appeal to you, choose red instead. Red is the new black this fall. It shows up all over the runway and red carpet, especially in shades of scarlet, cardinal and vermilion. For dresses, skirts, shirts, sweaters, and coats think it red and it shall be.
But, it is not all about solid colors. Patterns popping up this fall are plaid, graphic designs, floral and polka dots. Any of these patterns should, and can, be worn in any size or on any article of clothing. Have an itch to make a statement? Try putting two of these patterns together in the same outfit. No longer is fashion constrained to matching patterns and colors.
Night life is going to witness a lot more lace. This is not your same lace of the summer – the bohemian and very rural. We now turn to the dark and powerful lace of Mortisha Adams. Holding hands with lace are beads and sequins. If you’re not wearing lace, wear something shiny. Much like patterns, these are better when mixed.
The biggest part of fall fashion— drum rolls please—the 60s. In case someone has been under a rock, the 60s have come back to the 21st century to show how fashion is supposed to be done. The era has hit TV shows, the big screen and now, the runway. Think beehive hair styles, go-go boots, mini-dresses, over-sized sunglasses and fur trim.
If you can take these ‘60s styles and apply new colors and patterns this fall season hold a plethora of fashion potential for you.
