As I hope you can tell there is not a rule in today's blog, but a question I give you to think over. Where is the glam? If you don't know one the worlds glamorous divas died today, Elizabeth Taylor. This has inspired me to make you aware of the lost art of glam. In the age of mini dresses, baggy t-shirts, and Nike shorts I cannot help but wonder what happened to the fashion statements made by Ms.Taylor. For that matter Marilyn Monroe, Cher, Vivien Leigh, Lucille Ball, Betty Davis, Audrey Hepburn and so many more who would be appalled at what we as fashionistas have done to glam. Thank God for divas today like Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, Julia Roberts and many more who have tried to keep the glam alive as best they could.
Glam is not really how you look on the outside, but more about the attitude you have. It's not all about fancy clothes and lots of eye make-up or red lips. All one needs is a little self-confidence in what they wear, or what they do. Just don't forget about the greats or the soon to be greats and the glam they brought to the fashion world. Cherish it. Live your life with glam everyday.
